An educational toy brand wanted to replace its existing plastic display system with a more sustainable version. The new display had to meet environmental requirements while still being strong enough to hang and display light-weight toys.
Challenge
Plastic hooks and plastic trays were no longer acceptable under the brand’s green packaging policy. The challenge was to create a fully recyclable display that could still support hanging toys without tearing or bending.
XingKun Solution
We developed an all paper display stand using FSC- certified cardboard, reinforced paper hooks and molded pulp inserts. The structure was designed without plastic fasteners, plastic bars or plastic trays, making the entire unit recyclable after use.
Final Result
The plastic free paper display successfully replaced the previous plastic display system. It met the brand’s environmental requirements while still providing stable hanging positions for educational toys. The project also became a reference for the client’s future sustainable retail rollouts.
